Professional Background
Dr. Austin Anderson joined our family in 2019. He is a Texan, born and bred, and grew up in Houston, where he spent most of his childhood learning to play the piano, building forts in the woods, and playing basketball with neighborhood kids. He moved to the Flower Mound area in high school and then later attended Abilene Christian University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry- all the while singing and playing the piano and guitar in several bands. Dr. Anderson completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University Of Texas School Of Dentistry in Houston.
Dr. Anderson’s favorite part of dentistry is helping people in pain. He finds it so rewarding to be able to use the knowledge and skills God has given him to heal suffering. He realizes that coming to the dentist can be scary for some people and wants to change that by earning the trust of apprehensive patients and teaching them how dentistry is vital to the overall health of the body. Our patients appreciate his sweet and easy-going demeanor, while his commitment to quality dentistry and perfectionistic attitude make him the perfect addition to our dental team!
Personal Life
Dr. Anderson is passionate about music and leading worship at his local church with his wife Hannah. One of his life dreams is to write songs that churches will use for worship. His other passions include working out, visiting the National Parks, watching Netflix documentaries, and eating Blue Bell ice cream. He enjoys spending time with his family, who also live in the area. Dr. Anderson’s mission trips to Guatemala to aid underserved communities and his volunteer work in a local dental clinic are evidence of his heart for giving back.
